Todo Cloud: To-Do List & Tasks App Reviews

Used EVERY day!

Ive been using this for years. Judging by all the 5-star ratings, Im not the only one who loves it and would highly recommend it!

Great Task Manager Plus!!

I use this app all the time. I need to personally learn to be better at making, reviewing, and utilizing task lists and to-do trackers. This app fills the spot for everything I need plus more. It reminds me of the legacy book calendar/task manager systems of the past.

Something is wrong

I have been using this for years and now I am unable to see my completed tasks as set. I have it set for one year and all I can see are the last two months. We need the ability to look back at a past completed task whether its saved somewhere else or in the app. For now, I need to know how to view the past year.

Very good project tool

I stopped using Outlook task and use ToDo a few years ago. Since then I have introduced it to others and they also like it. Would like to be able to make a sub-project below a project. Each version upgrade gets better.

Misleading

Why can I no longer sync iphone and iPad!! Disappointing

Keeps me organized and focused

An indispensable tool that enables me to prioritize and focus on the essential activities of my life.

SWEETNESS!

I am a long time Todo Cloud user. I have appreciated Appigos dedication to upgrades and updates. I especially love the ability to enter tasks and modify dates and entries lighting fast because of the smooth GUI and integration with Siri. Oh and dont get me started on the ability to enter tasks through the web - NICE! But what Im really diggin on is the ability to forward emails and have them parsed as tasks in Todo with priorities and due dates etc. already set - Super Handy! Lovin it!! - T.

Organizational Powherhouse

Ive been using Todo Cloud for a few years and couldnt be happier. Syncing tasks across my iPhone and Mac is solid and seamless. Timely and helpful customer service as well.

Nice!

All I can say is: NICE! I loved this app. ever since its debut. I use it all the time and it keeps me on top of everything. This is so much better than the system I used before, which was nothing. I no longer double book which is a good thing.

2,000 + alerts?

Been having major issues lately. Im getting over 2,000 alerts added automatically to some entries which is causing app to crash and freeze up. Not sure what is causing it. Ive deleted all the ones I could find. Hoping this goes away as its impossible to use this todo online app Im paying to use. Like this app but seems like every year theres major issues. Thought the online version would resolve this.

Great app, but annoying as heck

Its a great app. In fact, I cant find a better to do list app. And Ive tried a lot of them. This is the second or third version of the app that Ive bought. Worth the money, but they have this awful habit of nagging and nagging and nagging you to buy the newest version of the app. There is no option to never remind you again if you say no. Thats great for free apps, but I paid for this. I shouldnt be constantly dismissing noticed that I should upgrade again. Really annoying and its making me try to search for a new alternative again.

Great App but crashes

Great App, but unfortunately very unstable and keeps crashing after I filled it up with information. It is the best out there (if you are lucky enough with working with it without crashing)

!! Pluses and disappointments !!

Long-time Appigo ToDo user. In spite of disastrous upgrades, that deleted or duplicated todos, and terrible synching experiences, weve stuck with this app because its features and familiarity topped those of its competitors. However, the Todo Cloud app suffers from serious problems and deficiencies. 1. It should launch directly into the to do list--not into a splash screen where one is forced to tap a Continue button to get to the dos! 2. The dark background for the category list screen is dismal--it should be white like the rest of the app or we should have an option to make it whatever color we wish! 3. The font for todos should be thicker to make them more readable. ToDo 6 worked well in that regard. 4. Bring back the priority icons from earlier versions of the app. Having them on the right side of the todos was clearer and easier to process. 5. Lose the exclamation points as the designation of priorities. As users all across the WWW have reported, they are visually distracting, typically redundant, and undermine readability. It is a nuisance having *every* single one of *our* todos preceded by exclamation marks! !!!dont you see !!that makes the !!!text of todos !harder to read !!remember the milk !!!take out the dog !write a review of Todo Cloud! I realize the exclamation points are part of your intelligent parsing system, but many dont use that and you should throw your long-time users a bone and let us turn that and the exclamation points off! Or, let us choose a different way of showing priorities or use none at all. So, please fix the glitches for your devoted users! Feb. 2, 2016

Versatile

Can use this app as simple or as detailed and integrated as you would like. So many features. Syncs very well.

Poor

Not happy was charged for a full month of service ! When I only tried the app for a day . There is no helpful information available regarding customer service

Absolutely Fabulous

Wonderful app. Very easy to use, well organized, great use of visuals and color make tasks pop and easy to grasp at a glance. Very happy customer!

PC

I have used todo for many years now. Mainly in collaboration with a group of 12. The app performed very well but over the past two months has taken dive in reliability. It fails to connect to the cloud server from various devices and does not update tasks. This makes it unusable. The response team do well at responding but just are not able to correct the challenges. Its been three weeks now since the continued connection challenge. I guess a premium user doesnt seem to mean much these days. Really disappointed at this time and would not recommend to anyone that needs a reliable app.

Pro is a misnomer

It pains me to write this review. Ive been using this product for many years, and time and time again I run into sync problems. I eventually bought the pro version in hopes it would solve the issues, but unfortunately it hasnt. Getting support is difficult, the constant answer is reset your data. Thats great until you use it on multiple devices and make changes on more than one before realizing your changes havent synced in a while and now theyre all different. I count on this app, every day, and I count on it working and not losing my data. I havent switched because its not easy to switch, but its becoming harder to stay thats to switch. Most recent problem - premium account expires without warning. Get a popup telling me to renew to keep my features and devices in sync, so I do. What happens after? The app shows a renewed account, but the changes wont sync past the time it expired the night before. Grrrrr!!!!! Complete PITA! Fix your software if youre going to charge people!

Workflow Is Worth It

Long-time user, I upgraded to Cloud, despite the expensive annual subscription ($20 for a to do list). However, the ability to voice-command Siri a to do in a specific category and have it show up on all my devices is a time-saving workflow that makes it worth it. The price and a slightly clunky UI takes away a star. Otherwise, very good app.

Gone Down Hill

Short Review: Buggy and unreliable. Longer Revieiw: Ive been using Todo on iPhone for a few years. I started with one of their first iterations and kept updating until Todo 5 or 6 when they pretty much FORCED a paid upgrade to either their next PAID update or Todo Cloud (subscription). I was a little miffed at having no choice in the matter but opted for Cloud because I LOVED the idea of being able to work my list on the computer as well as my iPhone. Ive been using CLOUD for 3 years now, and it was great for a while. But slowly started to creep in and support was not very friendly. (One response to a problem I was having simply said something like "I have been able to replicate the behavior. I have forwarded this information to our development team.....have a nice week.") Its unfortunatly gotten to where I have no confidence in the web interface. Data seems to disappear, many settings simply have no effect, and if I cut & paste any notes into a task, it pretty much blows up. Ive downgraded starting this year to Todo 8 because its stand-alone and am shopping for an alternative. If youre okay with paying $20/year for data that you cant trust, sign up. Otherwise, move on because once youve signed up, its hard to migrate.
