Todo Cloud: To-Do List & Tasks 应用的评论

看似不错的软件,其实一点都不好用

规则繁琐,根本不实用。用了几个月还是删了

Appigo seems to be dying

Bugs accumulating, desktop (win) version corrupts the data (ongoing for over a year now with no resolution), Appigo support is completely non-responsive to all communication, today the database sync server is responding with HTTP 500 errors. Use at your own risk.

Intentionally crippled

This app used to be good ten years ago, but they keep making it worse and worse to try and force people to pay for a subscription which is ridiculous. They finally crippled the app enough that I'm switching over to Microsoft To Do.

I have tried to cancel my subscription for months

I have tried multiple times, various way, I keep receiving the monthly charge I keep trying to cancel the monthly charge, after months I finally got a response from support, regardless of that the monthly charge keeps coming. I have not use the app for many months and still getting the monthly charge after multiple attempts. When will the charge stop, I keep receiving a monthly charge for close to a year, I have not been able to stop it nor cancel the subscription and no one helps, they are stealing my money.

Terrible Support

I was a long time premium subscriber to this app. I always liked the functionality of the app but when the developer finally rolled out the Apple Watch update almost 2 years ago I was very disappointed. The Apple Watch didn’t display any notification of the number of tasks of any sort. It just displayed dashes. Also, there was no task detail showing on the main display of the To Do cloud complication on the Apple Watch. I opened a support ticket in January of 2023 only to have the ticket close automatically with no mention of an update or a fix. That happened too many times to count and I repeatedly had to follow up and ask for the ticket to be reopened. I finally gave up and cancelled my subscription. It’s unfortunate that as a long term user supporting this app that I my many attempts at addressing the issue fell on deaf ears.

Well worth the money

I’ve been using electronic to do lists ever since the days of the Palm Pilot. As technology has changed over the years, I’ve had to move to other platforms and other to do applications. I discovered this application about five years ago, and with only some slight customizations it totally suits my needs. Plus the ability to sync between my iPhone and iPad and desktop computer really gives me some flexibility.

Do NOT buy! Latest upgrade deleted all ToDos. Has many other BIG problems!

Happy New Year! NOT! I was a devoted user of Appigo’s ToDo for many years. I was one of its first users and was active in its user forums providing assistance. Appigo even invited me to be a beta tester due to my helping others and sent me a t-shirt for what I had done! Over the years, the app has hit rough spots; features that didn’t work; upgrades that were glitchy; an ongoing lack of *local* synching; etc. I have weathered all of its ups and down, and stuck with it. It has many good features and was familiar to me. With some reservations given past problematic experiences with new versions, I nevertheless decided to upgrade today because the app’s Note functioning stopped working properly under iOS 11. A big mistake. This latest upgrade was a DISASTER. It’s been by far the worst experience I’ve had. 1️⃣ 1. It deleted ALL my tasks! That’s right—every single one of them gone! Years of carefully-crafted lists, contexts, repeating tasks, and key financial, medical, hobby, reading, shopping, and computer tasks decimated, vanquished, disappeared, and removed. This is incredibly bad app development. The cardinal rule is a Hippocratic one—“First, do no harm!”. 2️⃣ 2. Unlike the previous version (8.28), this one REQUIRES that you sign up for their Appigo Cloud service. You read that right! You can no longer use the app WITHOUT signing up with them for an account. That’s dismaying. But that isn’t even the worst part of this. 3️⃣ 3. WITHOUT my approval, WITHOUT my having verified my email address, and WITHOUT my having turned on synching, the app started synching the todos I had created. That’s invasive. It’s unwarranted. It’s bad form. Yet, it gets worse. 4️⃣ 4. The app does NOT have a way to turn OFF synching. It happens automatically whether you want it to or not! That means that your tasks end up on an Appigo server. Your privacy has thus been violated, and without warning. Is our personal data being mined for ads? For information? Monetized in some way? No matter. Whether it is or not, the tasks are yours and should not be transferred anywhere else WITHOUT your EXPLICIT permission! Signing up for an account is NOT the same thing as OK’ing AUTOMATIC synching and transfer of personal data to their server. 5️⃣ 5. What’s gone wrong with Appigo? Years ago, they sold off Notebook, an incredibly useful app, to a company that let it wither on the vine. Their upgrades of ToDo have historically been bug-ridden and flawed. They often drop features without warning and add new ones that are only partly functional. This app should have an offline, non-synching mode. 6️⃣ 6. I can no longer recommend the ToDo app. Even more than that, I need to caution others against ever starting to use it. You’ll get trapped and, eventually, as sure as the Sun comes up every day, an upgrade will delete all your tasks and all your hard work. Do NOT risk that. Do NOT download. Do NOT use. —————————————————————————————————— PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM FEBRUARY 2016 !! Pluses and disappointments !! Long-time Appigo ToDo user. In spite of disastrous upgrades, that deleted or duplicated todos, and terrible synching experiences, we've stuck with this app because its features and familiarity topped those of its competitors. However, the Todo Cloud app suffers from serious problems and deficiencies. 1️⃣ 1. It should launch directly into the to do list--not into a splash screen where one is forced to tap a Continue button to get to the dos! 2️⃣ 2. The dark background for the category list screen is dismal--it should be white like the rest of the app or we should have an option to make it whatever color we wish! 3️⃣ 3. The font for todos should be thicker to make them more readable. ToDo 6 worked well in that regard. 4️⃣ 4. Bring back the priority icons from earlier versions of the app. Having them on the right side of the todos was clearer and easier to process. 5️⃣ 5. Lose the exclamation points as the designation of priorities. As users all across the WWW have reported, they are visually distracting, typically redundant, and undermine readability. It is a nuisance having *every* single one of *our* todos preceded by exclamation marks! !!!don't you see !!that makes the !!!text of todos !harder to read !!remember the milk !!!take out the dog !write a review of Todo Cloud! I realize the exclamation points are part of your intelligent parsing system, but many don't use that and you should throw your long-time users a bone and let us turn that and the exclamation points off! Or, let us choose a different way of showing priorities or use none at all. So, please fix the glitches for your devoted users!

icon personalization options problem

cant change icon appearance after update on ios. why?

One small fault

I have used this for years and I’m a bit OCD, so it is very helpful in keeping me in task. I love it! However, the one thing that appears to have happened in an update, is you click on a task from the list to complete it, but it completes a task an item or two below the one you want to click. It’s as if the touch screen calibration is off. If I’m not paying attention, I won’t realise and that’s a little annoying if it’s not a reoccurring task. Fix that, and life is good! Thanks

Lost ability to add and save notes

New new release (one week ago) does not save notes. Add Note opens, can enter text, the “Done” button is gone and the note or edit of a note is not saved.

Great!

I’ve used this app for well over a decade. I like all the options for customization - helps to keep me organized and able to easily sort tasks. Whenever I’ve had an issue, customer service is efficient, helpful and professional. Issues are always solved! Thank you!

Very Disappointed

After using, loving and relying on this application for years, overnight and without warning, they disabled the tag and repeat functions - unless you buy their extortive “premium “ version. When I went to grudgingly upgrade, the integration with the App Store did not work, leaving me stranded on a midweek work night! What a crappy customer experience.! Consider using a competitor App Store app or standardize on Google’s version. If it is not as good as ToDo now, it surely will be soon - and free to boot…

Optimistic

I’m feeling optimistic again about being more intentional with my routines again. I like that this app has been very user friendly thus far as well as allows me to be as detailed/personalized as I wish to with my task organizations.

Happy with app again

Had an issue with app and was unhappy but keno has now fixed it. I can finally use to do again. Have used this app for 9 years and cannot live without it.

Suspicious behavior turning off auto-renew

Not one to be a conspiracy type person, but when attempting to cancel a paid account's auto - renewal I experienced repeated errors and directions to call their support. This shouldn't happen. It should be as easy to cancel as is was to subscribe.

Likely going to find something else

I’ve used this app for many years but I’m just done with it. It’s extremely glitchy, constant sync errors. It’s so frustrating that when you add a task using the “+”, you can only add a description and due date, you have to save the task and then go back into it to add a time, this is extremely annoying. Also, for about a year now the app seems to easily complete tasks my mistake which has caused me to miss appointments, I don’t know if it’s doing that on its own or the app makes it too easy to tap complete by mistake, but I know it never used to be an issue for me. Bummer, I really used to like this app.

The App is DEAD - Find Another

I chose the paid plan, liked it at first. Then a phantom list that I had deleted reappeared. I could not delete it. Then it started copying itself. I now have over 400 “Random Lists”

Canceling after a decade of use / massive crash rates

Loved todo. Have used it for years. In the past year, between syncing errors to the cloud which you pay a premium for, and the app itself crashing and losing data, I can’t rely on it. I’ve reached out to customer service several times and my issues never got resolved. Everything I need to do was on this app and after this most recent crash, I’m really disorganized and I know things will slip through the cracks. Just going to go with trusty Google Tasks from now on. No syncing issues ever with GT. Just cancelled my subscription.

Great App, wish watch app was better

I love this to do list app. It really helps me organize what I need to do. My only real gripe is that nothing I mark as done on my Apple Watch does not update in the app on the phone or online. That can cause headaches l.

Problems with cross-platform sync

I reported this problem a year ago. It's true today and its a dealbreaking bug - are you paying any attention to this app at all? A Year Ago: I use the todo scheduler app both on my iPhone and on my iMac. I recently did a reset on one of them to make sure they each had the same data. But since then, changes on one platform are not being replicated on the other platform, even when I sync both and even when I quit both and restart. I'm going to have to restrict myself to making changes only in my iPhone while resetting the iMac version every day or two. Frustrating since I've been a user for many years. This problem is recent.

Technical problems

When your job calls for you to complete 30+ discrete tasks in a given day, you need a robust and reliable task app. This isn’t it. It has always been glitchy. And they have never taken any action to resolve persistent bugs about which they were notified. I could live with them though. However, when their web server went down a couple weeks ago for multiple days, I was crippled. There has been no contact from the company about this to their PAYING customers. Goodbye, you don’t deserve another dollar.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Overall, a nice app. Still needs a few things.

Syncing errors for days and support website down

Are you guys still in business? Gonna get your website back up at some point?

No longer synching

What has happened to the Appigo site? Suddenly I can't synch my ToDo list across my devices and the website server is no longer there. Is this app now defunct? I pay for a membership each year, I expect it to work are to get communication about it.

::UPDATED:: Time to move on (I’m staying)

I’ve been using app for years, long before it was even To Do Cloud. I’ve dealt with all the hiccups, upgrade issues, and paid the annual subscription fees. I was a loyal user and app got me through busy family schedules, busy work life, busy volunteer job, under graduate, and graduate school. I just purchased my first Apple Watch and apparently app doesn’t work on the watch. That’s just crazy! Seems unfortunate. Sigh. 1/3/23 update: I tried other apps and none lived up to my expectations. (You all set a high bar for me). I broke down a couple of weeks ago and gave in and purchased an annual subscription - even knowing it wasn’t on Apple Watch. I figured I’d just deal with it. Very excited to see todays email announcement. Thank you. I reckon there will be bugs as it goes with updates. Fingers crossed for smooth rollout. I’m glad I stayed.

Key feature don’t work…

This has been my favorite To Do app and I have been pleased with it in the past, but recently features don’t work that I have paid for such as; Google Calendar Integration and the Importing of Tasks from a CSV file. The company has been unresponsive in getting them to work, they seem more interested in other projects than fixing in-production functionality.

It was a great app, but...

As a long time user of the free version, I'm very frustrated that the things that used to be free are now part of the paid version...and the paid version isn't cheap! As a home user (not for business) I can't justify another monthly subscription. I miss being able to create repeating tasks in particular. So, I'll be moving to a new app that has a few more options...for free.

Amazing todo list app

I have been using this app for many many years. It keeps me organized as I can separate my tasks by home, work, volunteer and extended family obligations. Every evening I can move unfinished items to the next day or a future date. Every morning (after coffee) I open the Today list and can see what I need to know, or remember, to plan out my day. I use the recurring task feature to track things like when bills are due and to help me remember upcoming birthdays. I recently had an issue with one of my work lists on my computer version of the app. I sent in a support request and am so amazed and gratified by the quick response and the detailed work of the support team in helping me resolve the issue. They kept at it until the issue was resolved. I couldn’t recommend this app more highly!

One of the two apps I use to stay organized.

I have been using Todo for about 15 years. i’ve also been using Week Cal for about the same length of time. These two apps I use throughout the day, every day … to stay organized. I’ve tried so many different apps and analog forms of to do lists for over 30 years, and I’m not sure how effective I could be on a daily basis without Todo. as soon as they released Todo Cloud, I jumped on it and haven’t looked back. Regardless of what device I’m using, iPhone, iPad, laptop, a current list is always available because all three devices sink constantly. I teach iPhone classes at the largest senior center here in San Francisco, and constantly recommend Todo. One feature I dearly love, is the ability to quickly use the microphone to dictate a task that gets added to my list instantly, and of course synchronized to my other devices. Everything is always up-to-date, and if I don’t finish a task it is shown as overdue, and I can easily move things ahead for a day, three days, or choose the date. It keeps my mind clear because everything is out of my head and in an app that helps me remember and accomplish more. There is a free version, which gives people a chance to try it before paying for a version with more features. I’m shocked at comments made by people who seem to be incensed that there’s a fee connected to amazing apps like this. As a past app developer, I do understand the logistics, and no app developer can possibly keep updating and paying the fees involved to keep it current. I considered one of the cheapest investments in my daily life. try it and you’ll become a believer, like me.

Overpriced, lost some repeating tasks

At some point recently, the Repeat feature became an expensive paid feature. Some if my repeated tasks disappeared after completion, so I wasn’t aware what was going on and lost tracking of a few tasks. Besides that, the app is overly complicated, I migrated everything to Reminders Apple app and deleted Todo cloud.

It has the potential to be great in the future

I like the way the app is laid out - very easy to get to everything with just a tap or two, no “it takes five taps to delete a task” type things. From other reviews I see the app is undergoing a major revamp right now, which is probably why it seems kind of glitchy at the moment. A few weird things I noticed are that right now I can’t set a task start date in the future (dates after today are greyed out), and that if I create a new tag when creating a task the tag does not show anywhere on the task to confirm I successfully added it until after I finish task creation and click the task on the list. Hopefully these are just teething problems that will be fixed eventually. This isn’t going to be the todo list app I use for now, but I do like it. It has good features and they are in convenient, easy-to-access places. I’ll be checking back in the future to see how it’s doing. A few suggestions to the developers: 1. It would be nice to have more customization options for the Today widget so it will be more useful for people whose organization system isn’t deadline-oriented. Possibly the ability to name boxes and set criteria for what counts show in them (possibly connected to smart lists)? 2. It would also be nice to be able to create my own sections or make tag-based sections within lists. It looks like right now it can only do due-date and priority, but it would be nice to have a way to make sections for things like work-from-home vs. in-office tasks

New update needed

Every time I open the app, it quits on me. Lately I’ve been able to quickly check off stuff, but I wasn’t even able to scroll through my todos as of yesterday. Please fix this!!!!

Latest update crash

Update on June 10 2022 crashes and does not open.

::UPDATED:: Used to Love it, Now? Eh!!! Fix Sync!!!

Loved where the product was going. The most recent tweak with syncing smart lists is a deal breaker for me. Looking for a new go to task manager.

Once Upon A Time…

Once Upon A Time this was my go-to task manager. It had everything. But it seems like the company has not kept things up-to-date. The most glaring omission in their product range is an Apple Watch app. Why haven’t they developed an Apple Watch app like every other task manager app worth its salt?

I used to like this app …

I’ve been using this app for a few years now and I really used to love it but with the latest update, it seems like it’s full of bugs. The start date doesn’t even jive with the due date anymore. I hope it gets better otherwise I’ll find a better app at this point.

Used to be good

Filters for the Focus List still are ineffective; can't twirl down to view subtasks (you have to double-click). It's sad when apps get worse.

Used to be great

I used to love this app but they keep changing the interface & adding unnecessary functions. They should have just kept it simple. They ruined a great, simple app. I’ve been a paid user for many years, but I’ll plan to find a replacement.

Lost data

If you are using cloud storage data, be aware that certain actions may fail and delete significant amounts of data that will be unrecoverable.

Used to be a great app

This latest version of the App is awful. I can’t even figure out how to save a task. I have had this app for over 10 years (paid) and I think I am going to cancel it.

My go to appt all day long

I’ve been using Todo for many years and was frustrated with some of the previous bugs that have now been taken care of. Customer support (Keno) has been very responsive. I’ve tried many other similar apps but nothing compares to this for my needs. Keep up the good work and improvements!

Apparently my legacy copy of the formerly free Appigo ToDo does not include Recurring tasks

Originally, Appigo ToDo was free and included having tasks be recurring rather than just one-time tasks. When Appigo changed to an annual subscription model, I was apparently grandfathered for a limited time (which they say expired in 2020). However until the latest update, nothing had changed for me. I could still make tasks recurring (e.g., daily; every Wed.; every 3 weeks; etc.). However, no longer is this true. As a result I have moved to a different ToDo app, Todoist, which DOES permit recurring tasks in its Free tier. Sorry, Appigo, but I must Go.

Great app. Great dev support. Been using for years.

Fixed a bug a told them about a few days ago.

Can’t function without TODO

love the new improved user interface, your app saves me everyday I can’t do without it

Recent Update Is a Disaster‼️

I have loved iCloud for many years The most recent update is an absolute disaster. There are overwrites on the main screen and the entry screen is overly complicated; when I tried to add a third tag to list tags and hit return it wouldn’t except it.

Now all of sudden I have to pay a subscription

I’ve been using app for years, but now I have to pay a subscription to use the app.

New version is awful

I have used and paid for this for several years. I only use the basic functions but it has been very useful. This latest update is a pain. Can’t even set up task with the right date and time. I’m going to cancel and search for another to do list app.

Definitely a MUST HAVE

I also have been using this App for 10 years. I have looked at others but nothing compares to this one. I keep EVERYTHING in this App…my bill due dates, work schedules, my medicine reminders, social events, daily-yearly chore reminders, auto maintenance reminders and info, pet-related reminders, birthdays/anniversaries reminders…each under separate categories but also viewable by day. The only time I forget something is when I don’t check my To-Do App. I HIGHLY recommend this App and the price is not any more than purchasing physical calendars or other reminder devices. I can check in an instant if I have an opening to attend a party or make a follow-up Appt. Personally I prefer having this App on my phone which is always with me.

Todo Cloud

Excellent product and the support is great. I normally don’t rate products but they deserve a 5 star rating.

Still the best

I have been using Todo Cloud as my to do list app for years. It used to be a but limited and buggy. So I gave several of other apps a try iver the years but they were either too complicated and time consuming to maintain or too simplistic and I always promptly returned to Todo. A couple years ago, a new manager (management team?) took over and it’s night and day. They cleaned up the old bugs, modernized the UI, and added a tremendous amount of functionality. I use most of the features, except for the collaboration features. It’s powerful, intuitive and visually pleasing. This app pretty much does everything I need. Their customer service and responsiveness are remarkable, especially if you participate in their beta testing. I highly recommend this app. Excellent value.
